Below is the link for the Iowa School Food Settlement that has been in the paper, on the news, and on Facebook.  You are a member of the this Settlement if you paid for school lunches and/or breakfast, between January 1, 2000 and August 1, 2014, at any Iowa-based school that participated in the IEC or the IAEP.  Settlement Members may receive up to $3.50 per student per year that they attended an IEC-member school, up to a maximum of $50.00 per student.  Glidden-Ralston Community School District was a member of this buying group for all of the years listed.  You need to click on the link and follow the instructions if you want to be included in the Settlement.

Student Highlights

-Congrats to Cassidy and Jason for being selected at Queen and King last night!
 
-Drea was selected to be a member of the All Iowa Dance Team this year.  Over 500 high school girls tried out and she made it! She will be performing the pregame routine with 49 other high school girls!
 
-The students at GR have been learning about the history of "The Star Spangled Banner" last week. Friday, GR 5th/6th graders celebrated the 200th birthday of our National Anthem and students across the country were doing the same thing. -Congratulations to the Homecoming Court for this year!
